Introduction:
The internship program at PRAVLAVYA ASHRAY offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about social change to gain hands-on experience in community development and nonprofit management. This one-month program is designed to immerse interns in initiatives that address key social challenges, including education, sanitation, and healthcare in marginalized communities.
Program Overview:
As an intern at PRAVLAVYA ASHRAY, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to several community-driven initiatives. You will be involved in tasks such as planning and executing outreach programs, supporting awareness campaigns, assisting with event management, and contributing to research and content creation. This program offers practical experience in community development while giving you a chance to make a direct impact on the lives of those in need.

Duration & Commitment:
The internship is 1 month long, and interns are expected to dedicate 5-6 hours per week. The program offers flexible hours to accommodate academic schedules.

Application Process:
To apply, please follow these steps:
1. Application Period:
Applications will be invited from the 10th of every month to the 25th of every month for the internship program scheduled for the following month.
Interested candidates must submit their applications within this window to be considered.
2. Shortlisting and Group Introduction:
Selected candidates will be notified by the end of the month.
Upon selection, candidates will be added to a WhatsApp group. Here, they will introduce themselves to their fellow interns and coordinators.
3. Internship Commencement:
The internship will officially begin on the 1st of the following month and continue as per the pre-decided schedule and guidelines.

Tasks and Activities:
During your one-month internship at PRAVLAVYA ASHRAY, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of tasks and activities that contribute directly to our mission of empowering marginalized communities. Here are some of the key tasks and activities you will be involved in:
1. Community Outreach and Engagement:
Assist in organizing and executing community outreach programs focused on education, sanitation, and health awareness.
Work with local leaders and community members to assess their needs and promote participation in initiatives.
Help in conducting surveys, interviews, or focus groups to gather community feedback on specific issues.
2. Awareness Campaigns:
Assist in developing content for awareness campaigns related to sanitation, healthcare, and education.
Help in creating and distributing educational materials, such as pamphlets, posters, and social media posts.
Coordinate and support on-the-ground activities such as workshops, talks, and training sessions for community members.
3. Event Planning and Management:
Participate in the planning, coordination, and execution of events such as health camps, educational workshops, and community gatherings.
Assist with logistics, registration, and volunteer coordination during events.
Help in creating event materials and ensuring smooth operations before, during, and after the event.
4. Research and Data Collection:
Support in conducting research on social issues affecting marginalized communities, such as access to education, healthcare, and sanitation.
Collect and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of ongoing programs.
Assist with preparing reports based on findings and provide suggestions for improvement.
5. Content Creation and Social Media:
Contribute to creating content for PRAVLAVYA ASHRAY’s website, blogs, and social media platforms.
Write articles, success stories, or testimonials about the impact of the organization’s programs and activities.
Manage and update social media accounts to keep the community informed and engaged.
6. Administrative Support:
Assist with general administrative tasks such as organizing files, maintaining records, and managing communication between team members.
Support the team with day-to-day operations, including scheduling meetings and preparing materials for discussions.
Help in organizing internal team meetings and brainstorming sessions for program development.
7. Monitoring and Evaluation:
Participate in monitoring the progress of ongoing programs and projects.
Help track program outcomes and evaluate their success through feedback from participants and data analysis.
Contribute to creating reports that summarize the program’s impact on the community.
8. Collaboration and Teamwork:
Work alongside other interns, volunteers, and staff members, participating in team discussions and brainstorming sessions.
Share ideas and actively contribute to the planning and execution of various initiatives.
Participate in team-building activities and develop skills in collaboration and leadership.
